Asian Pork Stir fry

20-minute Asian Pork Stir fry | Plaid and PaleoI am always down for a quick and easy meal! The less clean up, the better is my motto. I tend to make a huge mess in the kitchen. I don’t even know how. One minute I am stirring something in a bowl and then suddenly there are five dirty pots and pans, whisks, wooden spoons, measuring cups and more. I love this Asian Pork Stir fry because not only does it only use one skillet, it also takes less than 20 minutes to prepare!

I cannot wait to be in Austin for Paleo f(x). I dipped my toe in last year, and I am excited to return this year. I am staying with a group of paleo bloggers. When you write a blog, you start friendships with other bloggers but it is rare to get to meet in real life! Who else is going to be at Paleo f(x) this year? Austin is an absolute blast, and one of my favorite cities in America. I can’t wait to check out some new restaurants along with visit old favorites like Picnik!

20-minute Asian Pork Stir fry | Plaid and Paleo

Asian Pork Stirfry

10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 tbls ghee
  • 2 tbls fresh ginger, minced
  • 5 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seed oil
  • 1 lb pork stirfry, or thinly sliced pork chop
  • 1/2 napa cabbage, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced
  • sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Melt ghee in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Stir in ginger, garlic and toasted sesame seed oil and cook until fragrant.
  3. Place in pork and cook for a couple minutes on one side until browned.
  4. Flip and cook for 2-3 more minutes then set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, toss in cabbage, bell pepper and scallion and cook until tender.
  6. Add in pork and serve with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
