So a little known fact. I was actually in the move industry for a couple years. I love movies especially independents! I love throwing themed parties, and what better way to throw an Oscar party than to serve foods inspired by the movies up for Best Picture! Most of these come from the location the movie is set, but I got a little more creative with a few others.

Spicy clams make an appearance in an important scene, and I’m told they were a favorite in the 70s.

Samosas are a traditional dish in India, Asia and the Horn of Africa where the movie is set.

The majority of this movie takes place in England where you can get your fill of yorkshire pudding.

This movie is all about excess and indulgence. Nothing is more indulgent than lobster!

Perfect! I always have apples and almond butter on hand to keep me going strong on paleo when I feel like cheating!
